Julian Chaplinsky is a Ukrainian architect and urban blogger with a passion for good urban planning. He has a popular YouTube channel where he shares his expertise on how Ukrainian cities can become happier, healthier, and more prosperous places for all its citizens. Julian is a respected figure in the field of architecture and has worked on several high-profile projects in Ukraine. Our goal was to create a brand identity that would reflect Julian's expertise, professionalism, and vision, while also being adaptable and versatile for a global audience.
To achieve this, we used the ABC Whyte font and adapted it to include Cyrillic characters. The font's geometric and minimalist design perfectly aligns with the brand's objectives. The use of sans-serif typography helps convey the brand's modern and professional personality.
We chose to use the black and yellow color palette, which was originally used by Julian Chaplinsky, as it represents his bold and dynamic personality. To update the color scheme, we made the colors brighter and more vibrant, which aligns with the brand's objective of being adaptable and versatile for a global audience. The combination of black and yellow provides a strong visual identity that makes the brand easily recognizable and memorable.
Our primary target audience is individuals who are interested in urban planning, architecture, and design. We aimed to create a brand that would appeal to a wide range of individuals, from students to professionals. Our design approach combines a clear and smart aesthetic that reflects Julian's expertise and professionalism, making it suitable for a professional audience.
